The eighth finals

The grand final

The grand finale is here. This is the final phase of the tournament. It pits the two winners of the semi-finals of each category against each other in a single match. The winners of each category of the different finals win the tournament and are crowned Olympic champions of their categories.
The first, second and third place winners in each category receive gold, silver and bronze medals respectively. Honorary awards are also given to teams that have achieved outstanding performances. An overall ranking of country medal winners is made at the end of the competition.
